Question: hi,
this is regarding my baby girl.
from last few days she is having nose block issue and on 4th feb we visited doctor were she told us that her chest is clear and it's normal symptoms in cold climate.
she asked us to keep her head elevated while sleeping and to continue the nasal drop NASOCLEAR 2-2-2-2 X 3days (ref attached pic).
that .
n 4th night she had problem sleeping and woke multiple times and we could hear the breathing sound .
similarly on 5th night when the same symptom started we took her to emergency doctor at night 11.00. he gave NASIVION drop 2-2-2-2 for 2days with SINAREST AF 1ml-0-1ml refer 2nd pic
after stating NASIVION today whole day she was kind of sleeping and she vomitted after drinking milk. after 40 to 45 min she vommited .
is this comen with this medicine. we didn't give her SINAREST after seeing this symptom.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

Let me assure that children sometimes throw up due to the throat irritation and excessive mucus. This is nothing to be concerned about. The medicines are proper and please continue r them.

You can go ahead with the vaccination and there is nothing to be concerned about.

Regards

hi dr.
thanks for the quick reply

I had few more doubts
1. we stay in 14th floor. thus pressure will b comparatively low from ground floor. does this effect babies any way.
2. we tried cleaning her nose with dropper but droppers are comparetively bigger than her nose . is there any way to clean the nose.
3. any home remedy to clear the nose congestion ?

Brief Answer:
Questions answered one by one.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

1. The thin air at 14th floor is nothing to be concerned about. The baby automatically acclamatises to the situation. You need not worry about the same.
2. You do not need to clean his nose. Just apply Nasoclear Saline nasal drops. It will hydrate the nose and will help in clearing the debris and blockage.
3. You can buy saline nose drops at a pharmacy, or you can make your own saline solution:
Add 1 cup (240 mL) clean water to a clean container.
Add 0.5 tsp (2.5 g) salt to the water.
Add 0.5 tsp (2.5 g)baking soda.

Apply this solution drop by drop to each nostril when needed.
