Suggest Treatment For Swollen Urethra And Pain During Urination

Question: Hi I am 21- year old female. I have had an auto 6 months ago, it got cured but later I happened to have gotten swollen urethra, and I also experience pain while urinating specially near to end. I also experience pain while intercourse, I'm not too active though. Im sure I don't have any UTI or anything.Also there are no other symptoms like fever, bleeding or discomfort while sitting etc. But since it's been a long time I'm concerned about it. What could be the treatment that I could take to get relief since I cannot visit my gynac at the moment. Also I feel my clitoris is sore sometimes.

The pain during urination and near clitoris can be due to a local injury in the area or an allergy or infection. A direct examination of the area is needed to rule out any inflammation. Till then avoid wearing any synthetic undergarments and apply a local antiseptic cream in the area like Neosporin H and see if it helps.
In case the pain is persistent then do consider going to your gynecologist for proper examination.

Thank you so much.. Also I experience stricture while urinating, the stream is really thin(obviously not normal). What could I do to get rid of the inflammation immediately, since I can't go to my gynac. What could it possibly be? Will it get cure? I'm really worried because it's been a long time. Also is urethral inflammation normal? I'm regularly using V wash and taking care of hygiene.

Urethral inflammation with abnormal stream is worrisome. You need to consult urologist for proper diagnosis. Diagnosis without an examination only on internet is not possible. The treatment will depend on the cause. Consulting a urologist physically is a must for treatment.
