Suggest Treatment For Stone In Right Kidney

Question: I hav a stone in right kidney 5mm came up on ultrasound so it must be opaque one whatever that means doc says treatment depends where it's located but I don't understand as I thought they must move about or how do u get blood in your urine otherwise and if its on right kidney can it not move over to left I am drinking lemon juice and apple cider vinegar etc will this help

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a stone in Rt kidney detected on Ultrasound Scanning .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) What is the location of stone whether in Calyx or Renal pelvis?
2) Is there any changes of dilatation of calyx or hydronephrosis reported in ultrasound report.?

The blood that you have in urine is due to injury to the delicate mucosa of pelvi-calyceal system resulting when the stone moves down with flow of urine during peristaltic movements .

Stone of a size of 5 mm is likely to pass down along with urine without any active intervention.However it is very difficult to predict the time it will take to happen the same.

You have to ensure that you produce more urine by drinking more water .

Lemon juice and apple cider vinegar that you are taking will help diuresis and to pass more urine

Please do not worry it is sure to be passed down .

Thanks do u have any tips or natural or even prescription drugs I can use to erode or get rid of stone naturally without having treatment in hospital as I hav a bad spine and can't lie flat I was taking reanavive herb capsules but they mustn't have worked I've heard of chianka Petra Spanish people say this hence it's common name of stone breaker is good

Hi I had urogram with XXXXXXX ultrasound and cystoscope and ultrasound radiographer said stone was 1 cm then cystoscope guy said he'd seen all my results and it was 5. Mm so is it an accurate measurement from any of these 3 tests as it could be up to 6 was for ct scan and they don't tell u any advice or anything does or donts I need to know and anything I can do to shrink or dissolve it and wots your view on chanca piedra I've read it's good for stones but u have to be carefully I would app if u can address all of my points thank u very much indeed dr patill

Thanks for follow up.You have not provided information I have asked for in my reply earlier .

It is always difficult to measure exact size of the stone as the position of the stone always changes due to movement and so is the measurement.

However please note that treatment for stone is decided by the degree of obstruction it causes to flow of urine and back pressure changes in ureter and kidney. and not only by size of the stone..

Since you do not have any obstructive changes it is certain that it will pass down .You have to have patience and take the treatment suggested earlier.

There are no medicines that can dissolve the stone or reduce the size of the stone.
