Suggest Treatment For Small Red Blotches On The Face

Question: I am a 80 year old female. Healthy and active. I have developed small red blotches on my face --two on my forehead, but at least 6 or more around my mouth - upper and lower lips and on my chin. I changed all makeup to Clinique and applicators changed as well. These spots are round, small (1/8" or less in diameter and sore to the touch. I am undergoing Dental Care since April 2016 and a NYC College of Dentistry and have had numerous dental impressions taken -- so I attributed the sore and burning redness to this -- but since I have them on my forehead and side of face I don't think this is the cause. I have tried Antibiotic Cream and Cortisone Cream -- with no cure to date. Please advise.

They first appeared about 1 month ago. As I said, they are small, red, and sore.
I have been using anti-biotic ointment and cortisone ointment, to no avail.
They are only on my face -- around the lip area and 1 single ones on forehead and two on cheeks.
How will I send a Photo? Cell Phone?? Let me know.
