Brief Answer:
Sleeping pills suppress respiratory center in COPD patients

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in HCM

I can understand your concern

As you explain the medication you are taking you are suffering from arterial hypertension, COPD,chronic constipation.

Sleep problems are commonly encountered in COPD.Usually in these patients it is not recommended the use of sleeping drugs because they may inhibit the respiratory central system .In my clinical practice in my patients like you we recommend physical daily activity ,avoid coffee and smoking. You only can use cammomil tea ,a herbal calmant natyral tea before sleeping at night.

Please don't use sleeping pills because they might be harmful to you.

I hope this info is helpful for you.
