the medulla oblongata control respiratory center, autonomic function, vomiting, sneezing, swallowing, heart rate etc. So you can control your vomiting, snezing, activities but can not respiration or cardiac function.

I can give myself goosebumps at any time and I can control my heart beat and body temperature. And I can shake my eyes I know that's totally different but I'm just saying.and I can also flex a muscle in my ear to make a weird roaring sound that makes everything quieter
