Suggest Treatment For Severe Plantar Fasciitis Along With Pain In Foot

default
Posted on Mon, 2 Mar 2015
Question: I am having SEVERE Plantar Fasciitis pain in my foot. I am scheduled to see an orthopedic foot/ankle specialist in two days. I called last week to see if I could get in sooner because the pain is SO severe. I spent much of my weekend on my feet doing housework. By last night I could barely walk. The pain has been radiating up my ankle lately and last night was the worst it has ever felt. I honestly feel like my muscles on the bottom of my foot are going to tear apart or my ankle is going to give out. HELP!

Brief Answer:
you can take painkiller.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, I would advise that you should take a painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with an antacid. Hot fomentation and physiotherapy will have added benefits.
Further medical management can be planned after a clinical examination and investigation by your orthopedic surgeon.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
