Question: i have very very acute lower back pain; (following the trauma of a fall a few weeks ago). I am prescribed mobic, and osteo paracetomal. absolutely no relieve, to the point that I find it difficult to get on 2 legs (as opposed to four.
is it worth me seeking more advice, or is this my lot for life...I am 68

low back pain in your age group may be serious ...
it may be due to poor bone mass - which can be fractured after trauma.. or may be any mass in spine bones or just a muscle spasm...
you need to go for X ray and .. if required MRI of spine... to rule out any serious cause..
I advised you to go to a doctor who can evaluate and advice you further investigations accordingly..

mean while you can continue paracetamol and other pain killer .
