Question: I have a varicocele and I gave notice that the thst side of my scrotom isn't really red redder than then other side. I had an ultrasound done months ago and was told everything was fine. The varicocele is a grade one but I have also noticed it is a lot smaller as well. Could these be a dead testicle?

Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!

grade I varicocoele are varicocoele that is only seen on ultrasound and we often refer to this as subclinical varicocoeles. This is not apparent on physical examination. Grade I varicocoele rarely causes testicular atrophy.

A dead testis is a very small testis and often is less than 1 cm. Please upload your ultrasound result so I may properly interpret it for you.

My main thing is that when I was 18 or so I had a girlfriend that I i didn't know might have has chlimydia until now about 7 years later. During that time I did experience one case of dark green pee and went to the hospital for throat infection but never performed oral sex ok her. I also have two epididymal cysts one on each testicle. I believe I have anxiety but have also experienced itching at the tip of penis and pelvic pain that has gotten much better with PT. also sometimes when I pee it feels like something is trying to come out and sometimes I have enough urine and it feels like it did but sometimes it doesn't. also lately I have noticed my sack is red only on the varicocele side and that its red on my inner thighs. I wondering when though since I was 19 I have had numerous STD tests all which were negative could this have been an undetected case of chlamydia or gohneria that went away on it's own or with antibiotics from something else but before it did it caused theses issues and how likely is it to affect my fertility? Also the skin on my penis isn't as rounded and you can easily see the veins even when flaccid. I also feel like I don't have as much sensation down there on the tip. Could this all be stress related? Sorry for the array of questions thank you so much.

The chlamydia when you were 19 years old shouldn't be affecting you now and I'm sure has been treated by other intake of antibiotics. This is in the light that previous STDs examinations all came out negative.

In terms of possible fertility issues I would recommend a semen analysis examination to check if your semen is normal or not. I don't think in the history you gave me can lead to infertility.

Epididymal cyst are benign conditions that has no real clinical significance. It doesn't cause pain and it does not evolve to become cancer.
