Question: My daughter is showing a rash on her face. Red, splotchy, and itchy. She was outside in the sun yesterday, but always with screen. Thoughts on what it could be?

I am so sorry to hear about this rash that your daughter has developed. I have reviewed the image and this is suggestive of a allergy. She probably came in contact with something that the body doesn’t tolerate. It is not a sun burn. I will recommend you give her benadryl. Also, avoid letting go to play in this environment again unless you have identified the cause and eliminate it from the play area.
