Answers to your questions:

1. Rash started about 1 week ago.
2. Only on the front of legs, between the knee and toes.
3. Rash is pen point sized red dots which start out faint, the get deeper in color as a few days pass by. The spots are individual, not grouped together and are down the front of both legs from the knee to the toes, more on the right side than the left side.
4. No trauma
5. No prescribed meds, over the counter Aleve two caplets once a day, Calcium,Magnesium and Zinc tablets with Vitamin D - 4 tablets once a day.
6. Family history of diabetes.
7. Skin is not hot, spots are not raised. A friend who's an RN said it looked like Pertiquia?
8. No other symptom.

Brief Answer:
Most probably urticaria(allergic reaction)

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. The symptoms you gave are suggestive of allergic reaction which could be due to a number of causes like food, insect bite, dust, etc. It usually takes few days to resolve. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- Cetirizine one at night for 3 days
- wash/change bedding thoroughly.

Hopefully you will see improvement in 3-4 days BUT if condition remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital for further workup.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
