Brief Answer:
might be due to allergy, tablet montelukast

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
Based on the information I feel it might be due to allergy.
I would like to know bit more information like

Is it associated with wheezing? Breathless? Fever?
Is there any previous history of asthma? Or any allergies?
Is there any sputum?

I would have done thorough clinical examination and if required would have asked for chest x Ray.

Presently I would suggest few measures that will be helpful.
1. Drink plenty of water, especially warm water.
2. Steam inhalation with few drops of eucalyptus oil in it, three to four times daily.
3. Warm salt water gargaling 3 to 4 times daily.
4. Table spoon of honey with glass of warm water in the morning daily
5. Tablet montelukast 10 mg daily for 15 days, it is prescription based agent you can see local doctor for examination and valid prescription.
6. During attack -- Nasal decongestant like octrivin and expectorants like Ascoril 5 ml thrice daily.
You should see improvement with this measures.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
