Suggest Treatment For Rashes Under The Chin

Question: I had few rashes under my chin .. I visited to a Doctor he prescribed me Lobate GM...I used Lobate GM for 6 days theb found the problem has not resolved rather started getting lots of small bumps like boli all over neck and chest... I consulted another dermatologist he sais Lobate is steroid so I m getting this rashes... He told it will take time to recover... Now this dr has given me clindac A solution n aqamilon to apply... But after 5 days still it has nt recovered... Plz suggest

Yes, dermatologist is right. If steroids used where there is no need can lead to worsening or appearance of new rashes.

I would like to have a look at the rashes you have. Please attach an image of the same here.

Meanwhile continue to apply Clindac A. Any rashes produced due to use of steroids will regress slowly.

The lesions appear to be infected. An antibiotics cream like Clindac A is good. Continue applying the same.

If the lesion do not regress, then taking Tab Doxycycline 100 mg per day for a week along with applying Clindac will help.

Pls Doctor suggest me it there is anything else I can do...I am suffering hell lot... I can't see any improvement using clindac A since 6 days... Is there any oral medicine which can get me relief soon

Sorry for the delay in my response.

Tab doxycyline 100mg taken once daily after breakfast would help. This dose is for 10 day course. Also, apply calamine lotion in the night with clindac applied in the morning.
