Question: I just go pap smear done yesterday I having pain but no bleed and my low back is hurting I have taking pain med put nothing is helping what should I do

Low back ache may be due to many reasons like pelvic inflammation or infection(for which pap smear might had been done),Urinary tract infection,back muscles spasms etc.
It is important to know the reason for Pap smear.

You need Ultrasound of abdomen for confirming the cause.If it is not possible right now,then you can try few medicines empirically.

You can take combination tablet of Acelofenac,paracetamol and muscle relaxants like Chlorzoxazone.It should be taken after food stat and can be taken twice daily for four days.You should take bed rest and apply hot fomentation over the back muscles.

Antibiotics can be needed if there are signs of infection.
Definitive treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports.
