Brief Answer:
follow as already advised along with the following advises..

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Welcome back to HCM.

I've gone through your query and understand your concern for your father..

Now as per the symptoms you've explained, it seems like a partial nerve root compression in the lumbo-sacral region..

So the current medications in the prescription should continue for the time being while it'll be better to schedule for MRI of the spine to determine the exact nature & site of compression..

Yes as you've rightly narrowed down the problem, you need to go to a Neurologist for a detailed physical examination and management accordingly..

The first priority though is pain-relief and once it gets subsided, then further decision regarding physiotherapy for long-term benefit should be undertaken..

Let me know if there's any further query..

Take Care
Kind Regards
