Question: one and a half year before i had kidney stones. i dint do any laser treatment. i had 7 number of stones largest measuring 5 mm. At that time I took medicines k-mac syrup, Neeri tablet and a siddha tablet called Kalkarachi. one stone was in the urinary track and I had lot of pain. I took pain killer injections and had plenty of water and i was back to normal and no pain. i took kalkarachi tablet, k-mac syrup and neeri tablet for a month and left. i dint take scan after that. i thought all stones were gone. I did a health check recently. and I still have bilateral non obstructive renal calculi.... should I continue those tablets again....

Brief Answer:
Treatment for kidney stones depends on individual

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank You for consulting HealthcareMagic!

The tablets you have listed above are not of modern medicine and are not clinically approved by FDA(USA) or European Union Medical Association. So, I cannot comment on them. Today’s research indicates that a move toward individualizing the dosing of prescription agents is warranted and it can happen only after physical consultation

Treatment for kidney stones depends on individual to individual, based on symptoms you are experiencing (since how long and how troublesome they are), what conservative measures have been tried, how long did the stone stay there and along with physical examination findings. After going through the findings of your reports, personally I think that you might need treatment procedure like ESWL which is endoscopic shock wave lithotripsy. But a physical exam is mandatory to decide the type of treatment you need. You can discuss about this with your treating Urologist.

Stay healthy and thank you for consulting! You can contact me again anytime, if you need clarifications or further assistance in future. Kindly rate the answer if you are satisfied.
