Brief Answer:
muscular v/s kidney related

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.

Pain on right side of the back can occur due to either a muscular strain or kidney related causes like renal calculi.Nerve impingement in the lumbar spine due to a prolapse intervertebral disc also needs a consideration.

Have you lifted anything heavy recently?
Have you experienced sudden jerk or spasm in last few days?
Do you have any symptoms while passing urine?

I would suggest you to take analgesic muscle relaxant tablets like ibuprofen/tramadol with thiocolchicoside. If the pain radiates to the abdomen or groin region, you can take anti spasmodic medicines like meftal spas or cyclopam.

Application of local analgesic sprays followed by hot fomentation will have a soothing effect.

An Xray/MRI of the lumbar spine with a ultrasound of abdomen would be helpful if symptoms do not improve with above measures.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank you.
