Brief Answer:
Beard growth

Detailed Answer:
I follow what you are saying.

When I see someone like you in my practice, I order the following blood tests in addition to a thorough physical examination:

CBC
Electrolytes
Glucose
Calcium
SGOT
SGPT
Albumin
Bilirubin
Creatinine
TSH
Free T4
Total Testosterone
SHBG

None of these tests require fasting but it is important to do them around 7 am to 9 am in the morning.

If the Testosterone is found to be low then few more blood tests should be added, preferably to the same blood sample:

FSH
LH

and possibly even

Prolactin
Ferritin.

I understand you have seen a doctor who did some hormone tests. It is quite likely most/all of these tests may have been run by your doctor and as you say, they were told to be normal.

Endocrinologists are doctors who specialise in hormone related matters and the hair issue you have can be related to one of the following potential endocrine/auto immune conditions:

Thyroid problems
Male hormone deficiency
Alopecia areata

You will be best served by seeing an endocrinologist in-person for a comprehensive evaluation.
