Thanks for the follow up.
You can ask for any antibacterial available over the counter like Neosporin / Polysporin ointment.
Shaved hair have sharp edges which penetrate skin and lead to inflammation. One dictum never shave against the direction of hair, it has to be in the direction of the growth of hair.
It's better if you can use trimmer instead of shaving.
