Brief Answer:
steroids should be avoided

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case.

I would not recommend you to take steroids as they can cause serious side effects. You can take celebrax as it is not going to harm you. Before I advised you any further I would like to know little detail of your illness.
1.what procedure was done on you?
2.Are you having stiffness and swelling in shoulder?
3. Why you can not take NSAID?
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.

Thanks

Had Left shoulder arthroscopy with manipulation lysis of adhesions, synovectomy (total, acromioplasty and Mumford procedure. Can not take NSAIDs because I am on xarelto. Procedure was done 4/24/5 and I continue to have a lot of pain. Pain is preventing me from doing rehab exercises. there is stiffness but no swelling.
