Brief Answer:
Initially steroids.Later monoclonal antibodies

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.Thanks for writing back.

I deeply regret to say that Inclusion myositis being a disorder of immune function donot have a definitive therapy. However steroid, immunosuppresant drugs (methotrexate, cyclophosphamide) have been tried in initial stages.

However depending on the stage and severity of disease monoclonal antibodies (alemtuzumab) is known to improve the muscle strength.

I would not recommend any dietary restrictions unless you have difficulty in swollowing.I were to insist routine follow-up visits at intervals contingent upon the progression and severity of involvement to assess the muscle strength, tolerance of exertion, and compromise in occupation or activities of daily living.

Hope this answers your query.
