Question: I need to lose 5 kgs of weight. I have hypothyroid. Can any medicine help in weight loss

I can understand your concern.
There are several medications that are approved to be used for weight loss, but you should have a BMI over 30.
You didn't mention your actual weight and height, but you should discuss with your physician about orlistat or saxenda (the most recent one approved by FDA for the treatment of weight loss). He will decide rather they are suitable for you.
Do not increase the dose of levothyroxine if the TSH level is normal with the actual dose.
