default
Posted on Fri, 5 Aug 2016
Question: I have asthma. Right now my voice is hoarse but I'm not coughing. I use Flovent twice a day and have been using Xopenex sporadically. I don't think I'm wheezing. Do I need to call my Dr?

Brief Answer:
Do you gargles after inhaler use?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Faulty inhaler technique can also cause hoarseness of voice due to deposition of drugs on pharynx, larynx and vocal cords.
So please let me know
1. Do you take inhaler properly?
2. Do you gargles after inhaler use?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
