Suggest Treatment For Have Loose Stool
Question: My husband had C.Diff and was on a 14 day antibotic which I thought had cleared the C.diff but a couple of days later he started having diaherra again and is not very hungry and tried also he has had a graining substance in his urine...Please help what is happening snd what should I do?

I appreciate your concerns over your husband. Since he continues to have loose stool, I think we should rule out persistent C. difficile infection. I would request for a stool culture test and perhaps a colonoscopy (after the stool test) in such cases. His treating doctor will know about this tests. I recommend you discuss about it now.
Until he visits the doctor, I encourage him to drink plenty of fluids and add yoghurts and other probiotic supplements. They will benefit him.
Can you please tell me what antibiotics were prescribed?
Granular substance in the urine may be strangury. That is the very small fragments of stones come out through urine. The granular substance are not concerning unless he has painful / burning urination or he finds blood in his urine. I hope he doesn't have any of those. Encourage him to drink plenty of fluids and that should take care of this granular substance.
