Brief Answer:
likely viral infection

Detailed Answer:
hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
The fact that she is increasing on her fatigue , loss of appetite and aches with a chest congestion indicates a viral aetiology and a accompanied chest infection. It is important that a blood culture and a X-ray chest should be done along with lab counts to look for infection. In the meantime, as the symptoms are not improving , over the counter medications will not work and she has to be seen by a physician and duly evaluated for a cause.
She may require antibiotics for her chest congestion and the accompanied symptoms can be treated alongwith with supplements and NSAIDS.
Regards
