Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction
Question: Hi Doctor,
My name is XXXX, I am weighing 86 Kgs and 5’8 height.I am suffering from erection problem. It has become a continues story since last 20 days. In between i had a sex continuously a week and now i am unable to erect and sometimes if I erect i am unable to hold the erection. this has become a matter of worry and i am going through sleepless nights. I continued to have a sex with my wife since last 6 months and was enjoying every moment of the act. I was consuming cigarette before (6to7 cigaretter a day) and alcohol twice in a week. After this problem i stopped consuming cigarette completely and alcohol i had taken twice in these 20 days period. I was masturbating before my marriage for 5 to 6 times in a week. I contacted local doctor and he advised me to take Antoxid tablet once in a day after breakfast. He told I will be normal after 10 days. I am worried a very much as this problem is not supposed to be happened to me at this age(27Years). Whenever I go to have a sex with my wife this problem occurs in my mind and I lose my control immediately and I will be in an upset mood. My wife isn’t happy with my behavior presently.
I don’t know whether its a problem of physical or psychological. Please do find a proper treatment for this and help me out to come out of this issue.

Hi,
The problem you have mentioned in detail is not unusual, even at a young age as yours, and I suggest you get some basic tests done. These include Lipid profile, Serum testosterone Total, an ECG and a 2D Echo.
If the lipids are high, you should be started on drugs called statins to prevent narrowing of blood vessels which could be contributing to your erectile dysfunction. If testosterone is low, that may need to be corrected. If your ECG and 2D Echo are normal, and you have no heart issues, you can probably have significant benefit from use of drugs belonging to a group called PDE 5 Inhibitors, the best of which is Tadalafil, which at 10 mg dose to be taken about 30-45 minutes before you plan to have intercourse will hopefully give you a lasting erection which should satisfy you and your wife. take it not more than once in 3-4 days initially, and later if required you can increase the frequency of dosage.
This is a prescription drug, and therefore might need to be obtained only after you meet a urologist / physician.

thanks for the reply. I don't think I m having any problem physically. but my problem is purely psychologically. the time I started didn't having an erection it started. this bloody thing is not going out from my mind.
I m getting morning erection sometimes and I get erection sometimes whenever I have foreplay with my wife
pls suggest me something on how to come of it.

tadalafil tablet is for d temporary solution? I mean if I start having it for 2 months regularly after that erection will keep on hold or evrrytime whenever I want to have an erection I need to use it.
