Brief Answer:
Prostate gland enlargement is usually seen after 45 years age.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can understand your anxiety.
Prostate gland enlargement is seen in males after, the age of 45 years or more.
You're very young for it to cause symptoms.
If you're asking for awareness, it's fine.
If you can mention your symptoms, i can give you an expert opinion.
Usual symptoms are, weak stream, incomplete emptying of bladder, frequency, urgency to pass urine, waking at night to pass urine, etc.
With aging, the gland also enlarges, and symptoms increase.
Treatment is medical and surgical, after confirming the diagnosis.
Hope your doubts are cleared.

Brief Answer:
Check for UTI and diabetes.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Your symptoms may be due to UTI( urinary tract infection).
You give urine for routine and culture test.
Also, give blood for sugar and creatinine test.
Maintain 8-10 glasses of fluids daily.
If you drink more fluids, with normal kidney function, you'll pass urine more frequently. Keep that in mind.
Mild symptoms with no UTI, may be ignored.
Wish you well.
