Suggest Treatment For Elevated Blood Pressure And Fluttering Sensation In The Chest

Question: I am having elevated BP with occasional feeling of flutter like feeling. with some chest pressure (light). Dry mouth with frequent small amounts of unination. Also dull ache on right side of abdomen. BP 159/101 pulse of 82.

I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your BP is elevated although you have added cczzar 25 mg one week ago. This shows that the dose of Cozzar isn't sufficient to stabilise your BP.

If you were my patient I would increase the dose of Cozzar to 50 mg two times a day in order to control your BP.

Moreover I would ccntrol again renal and cardiac function ith the following examinations:
- Blood work including BUN and creatinine
- Cardiac echo
- Ecg
- Abdominal ultrasound
