Question: hello Dr.

My wife 27years. She is having dry coughing since today. Little bit of pain in throat. getting Breathless while coughing. one blocked nose as well. Pls advise suitable medicine with dosage.

Hi Sir,

I understand your query and concern.

Your wife s symptoms are suggestive of Acute pharyngitis.

I advise Tab.Augmentin 625 BD for 5 days,Tab.Levocetirizine BD,Tab.Limcee (chewable vitamin c) thrice daily, Nasivion nasal drops 6th hourly and Syrup.Grilinctus 10ml twice daily.

Note:These drugs should be taken under strict prescription of your doctor.

Hot gargling thrice daily and taking hot liquids like soups will also help.
