Suggest Treatment For Dry And Flaky Skin On Face Along With Pimples
Question: The skin on my face has broken out in a way it has never done before. It's been over a week that I have angry red eruptions on my nose and forehead; the skin around my mouth is unusually dry and flaky, and my eyes are red, watery and sometimes burn. The only thing in my life that has changed recently (no new soaps, foods, etc.) is that I have a new job, during which I sit before 3 computer screens for six hours at a time. The possible problem that comes in my mind is an allergic reaction of your skin caused by an allergent. The rush in your face ,red ,watery and burning eyes tell me more about that.
This is called allergic dermatitis , usually the skin problems appear in the place that you have contant with the allergen.
Yes stress can be a triger for this condition but is the last thing after we rule out something else.
Stress also makes your skin difficult to heal.
Please give me some more information ,so I can have a clear idea about the cause:
Did the skin eruption started to show when you started this new job ? Is a time or a place when You feel that your skin or eyes are better or worse ? Is any place that you spend most of the time moldy? Sometimes the allergy may be caused what we called black mold ( from the spores) when the house or the apartment have a lot of moisture.
The treatment consist of : Avoid the allergen that cause , steroids cream for local use ,keep the skin clean don't use any cream or soap until this disappears.
Be aware of any breathing problems or swollen tongue if you have .Go to the ER if you have thesr symptoms.

Actually the nose eruptions started a couple of weeks ago, maybe when I started using electric heat in the house.
The watery eyes has happened more recently.
I"ll try a new filter in my air system.

Thank you for the information that you gave me.
I will stay with allergic reaction( allergic dermatitis with conjunctivitis ).
Try to keep the place you spend most of the time (like home ) away from moisture.Also check for any black things on the walls or between the walls and the floor ( cause this black mold that I mentioned is the most dangerous).
The watery eyes that happens more frequently shows that your contact with the allergen is more often.
It's very hard sometimes to find the cause of the allergy but if you are aware during the days what things make it works you can start to stop using them and see the result on your face . (Like eletric energy )
See for any plants , powerds ,chemical spray , the cream you put in the face ,cigarete smokes , polens, metal thing sometimes had a lot of nickel that can irritate the skin, cleaning product..ect.
I would sugest to go to a dernatologist Also ,to do some allergy tests and to work together to find the allergent .
He /she can prescribe some hydrocortisone cream,ointments, antihistamines that can help.Use cold compresses ,will help.
