Question: hello dr...my son is 5 and a half month now...he has hold his neck but around 40-50 percent till now...as he had catract in both eyes since birth...the surgery has been done of both eyes at the age of 3 and 4 month...whenever he sits with the support of pillow and we call him or try to get his attention he usually saw...and then he usually saw downwards with his neck down...i just want to know that how much time will it take to hold his neck properly...thankss

Hi....I understand your concern. By what you quote I feel that your kid might be having developmental delay and cataracts due to intrauterine infection before birth.

This requires physiotherapy and the age at which the neck holding will occur cannot be predicted accurately. I am sorry to say this, but I have to tell you scientific facts.

But I can assure you one thing.... With physiotherapy there will definitely be improvement.

hello dr...my 5 and a half month son's face sometime gets red for 1 hour or so....and then after gets normal...so is there any problem...his face gets red only...not whole body...plzz sugest me something...reply soon
