Question: Hi,
I have missed a period- Expected date was 20 September 2014
Had unprotected sex, however used with-drawl technique.
Took 2 Urine Tests(hCG), on 29 Sep(Home) and 1st Oct(at Doctor's clinic) respectively- Both negative.
Doctor says I am not pregnant and has prescribed me Meprate 10mg (1-1-1 * 7 days ), for bringing period cycle back on track.
Today is 4th day of medication, I am experiencing fever- cold.
What should be my next steps?
I don't want to be pregnant, and get back onto regular period cycle.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
common side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hello, there is nothing to worry about it because these are the common side effects of drug.
Just take the tablets as advised and you will get periods after 2-5 days of stopping the drug.
It happens at times especially when patient is anxious after unprotected sexual activity.
All the best.

Brief Answer:
can take crocin

Detailed Answer:
You can take painkillers like crocin.
This pain in back is due to upcoming periods in a couple of days.
It is very common in case of delayed periods.
There is no need to take any other test,
But in case similar pattern occurs in next cycle then get an ultrasound done.
Take care.
