Irregular Periods, Spotting. Prescribed Meprate Tablet. Can It Terminate Pregnancy If Found And Get The Period?

Hello!! Iam a female; 26 years old , suffering from irregular periods and spotting since a few months. So my Doc has prescribed Meprate tablet for a week and asked me to undergo some blood tests. The problem is I think iam pregnant ( though I have not done the test yet; just a guess) and am not ready for it. My question is can the consumption of Meprate tablet help in getting my period even if am pregnant and can terminate it? Any info would be of much help !! Thank you!!

I am so sorry to hear about the irregular menses. Please, this drug cannot cause abortion in the event you are pregnant. If you have a strong suspicion of the fact that you may be pregnant, please go ahead and do a rapid pregnancy test. It is very cheap and can be done at the comfort of your home. This will help clarify whatever thing is going on with you.
