Question: I was diagnosed with prostratitis. I've had pain for 28 months my urologists said they can't help. Need help

I am sorry about your problem. As your doctors correctly said there is no definitive and complete treatment for chronic prostatitis.

However many drugs have been proven useful relieving symptoms and improving quality of life. These include alpha blockers, anti inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, tricyclic-anti depressants, physical therapy, trans-urethral microwave thermotherapy etc. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and alpha-adrenergic blockers are usually used to control symptoms.
