Hi! Welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be simple case of decreased intestinal motility but sunacute intestinal obstruction or fluid in abdomen needs to be ruled out on X-ray and ultrasound abdomen to rule out both respectively by dilated gut loops. Bowl sounds on examination can also he suggestive.

Using stool softeners like lactulose and Motility agents like domperidone or itapride will help. Antacids like omperazole before meals for few days will also have added benefits. Add more fibre containing diets like vegetables and avoiding heavy, spicy, fizzzy drinks and meals will help.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope this has answered your query. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. Regards.
