Suggest Treatment For Bipolar Mood Disorder With IBD

Question: My husband has had IBS for over 20 years-we have been married 18 of those. He has horrible mood swings, one minute, he is nice as pie and the next he is nastier than a cat on hot bricks. I have tried to be patient but I am worn down by this. I am taking paxil as a result. He doesn't see why I am offended by his behavior and refuses to talk to his doctor about it. Help!

My husband has seen a doctor and had numerous diagnostic tests to diagnose his ibs. However he refuses to ask for help for his horrible mood swings/temper.
