Question: I have a urination problem. some days I have a full stream others get a real small stream and it will start and stop with dribbles inbetween. I do not have cancer and have been told my prostrate is normal. NO blood or dark color to stream.

As an Urologist, i can understand your concern.

You were advised Tamsulosin,because your prostate gland was causing symptoms.
At your age,BPE or benign prostate gland enlargement,leads to your symptoms.
As you seem to have some side-effects of Tamsulosin,you can try an alternative.

If you send your reports,including scan,uroflowmetry and urine and blood reports,
i can give you give an expert opinion.
Your PSA ,creatinine and urine culture should be included.

After seeing all your reports,i shall give you an expert opinion.
If you're taking any other medication,kindly mention all of them.
