Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible GERD with all its complication. I think I would be able to help you find the answer. You may try to get a UGI endoscopy to confirm the diagnosis.
A course of pantoprazole 40 mg twice a day for 5 week may help you.

The symptoms of the query are also suggestive of a possible ANXIETY disorder. Now the problem would be difficult to diagnose online. You would need to meet with a psychiatrist.
Unfortunately, the medicines for this latter are prescription drugs.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the response.
The fact remains that the anxiety can cause physical changes. There are more than 1 way of anxiety manifesting physically.. its a common misconception that it won't cause any problems.

Also, I suggested anxiety as the second possible cause. The idea is to consider and treat the 1st cause. If that fails, I would suggest that you try to meet the psychiatrist after that.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best wishes. Dr Mittal.
