Question: I was wondering if i should be concerned with the prominent jugular lymph nodes? I got this ct done at ER i went because I had not been sble to eat without dry heaving for 4 days and had lost 8 pounds in about a week and a half. That day i had dry heaved for 15 minutes straight after attempting to eat oatmeal. They sent me home eith disgnosis of anxiety state and prescribed zofran. Anyways i can eat now without dry heaving but have since lost more weight 15lbs total despite adding ensure and adding more meals to my day. I told my dr i was cncerned about weight loss and he says its d/t anxiety. I do not feel anxious havent for the last 3-4 weeks. I did have a bout of "anxiety" basically i went crazy couldnt think, breath, i shook all day, had chest pain constantly, my legs felt paralized and twitched constantly, my B/p were high averaging 145/100 and pulses between 120-130 this lasted about 5 weeks and then just disapeared which i found odd also. I never took any medication for my anxiety or anything. I just woke up one day and was just back to normal just like that. My b/Ps are now averaging around 110/70 and pulses ranging 70-90's which is how i was prior to whatever happened. Im concerned something more is going on and since my dr is fixated on the anxiety thing hes ignoring other signs. He was upset when i refused to take zoloft because i told him i was afraid of medication and that i did not believe it was anxiety because it just came out of no where and it didnt feel like anxiety.
I had not seen a DR for 10 years. I just got this DR because im now 33 and wanted to get the basic check ups and exams and co workers said i should because i had occassional bouts (maybe 2-3 occurances a week) of dizziness they felt like an adrenaline rush only lasting about a minute or so. I would get SOB, heart would race, my eyes would cross, cold sweat, and legs would get rubbery. When i told him this he said it was anxiety and wanted me to try medication. I said no as long as im not dying i was fine with them since it rarely happened and only lasted a minute or less. Then 2 weeks later i got sinus infection took a zpack and my life went to hell i spent the next 5 weeks in constant adrenaline rush/crazy state. Now i cant gain weight no matter what i do. Im 96 pounds at the moment and im getting worried. Sorry for long message just want a different drs opinion if i should let this go or push for an explanation.

FINDINGS: No previous examinations available for comparison. The nasopharynx, oropharynx, hypopharynx and larynx are within normal limits. The tongue base is normal. The salivary glands are all symmetric and normal. There are a few prominent jugular
digastric lymph nodes in the neck bilaterally but no XXXXXXX lymphadenopathy. Cervical vessels are patent and normal. Mild degenerative changes of the cervical spine. Prevertebral soft tissues are normal. Lung apices are clear. Visualized paranasal sinuses
are clear.

Anxiety can just come on that suddenlly and then just dissapear? Does that mean it can just come back again thay severe? My weight loss is concerning me the most at the moment. Ive had no anxiety for 3 weeks now and still not gaining sny back although i havent lost anymore. Ive been eating so much and drinking ensures formulated for weight gain. Im tired all the time, sore all over, and im losing hair everytime i touch it some comes out no bald spots or snything just falling out.
