Brief Answer:
Surgical outcomes are exceedingly good.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your concern.

I have gone through your attached document.

Your doctor has prescribed VLS surgery(videolaryngostoboscopic surgery) under general anaesthesia for the Angiomatous polyp of the Left Vocal Cord.

This surgery involves removal of the polyp under video endoscopic guidance using Stroboscopic principles-.which means endoscopy performed with an intermittent light at a frequency that approximates the frequency of movement of the object visualized so that it appears to be motionless; useful in analyzing vocal fold structure and motion.

By this mechanism, the damage to vocal cord tissue is very minimal.

Hence this surgery is relatively very safe.

The outcomes are exceedingly good.

Singers usually undergo this procedure to attain their normal preoperative singing abilities.

Complete restoration of normal voice is very much possible in your case considering the size and location of the polyp.

Future health problems post VLS are exceedingly rare.

Hence you need not be tensed or upset with this procedure.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
It is non cancerous

Detailed Answer:
HI Sir,

I understand your concern.

This angiomatous polyps are not cancerous.

These are inflammatory masses.

Once it is removed at the time of surgery, the specimen will be automatically subjected to biopsy and the results will be known to you.

Any Good ENT surgeon who is capable of doing VLS surgery from your place is enough to handle your case.

Your own physician is also suitably competent enough.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
