Brief Answer:
hypothyroidism and pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM ,
At 6 weeks pregnancy , the TSH TARGET should be between 3.2 - 3.6 . So you may get her started on Tab Levothyroxine 50microgram daily one tab for at least 3 months. Then after a month repeat test of TSH may be done to adjust the dosage.
Hemoglobin of 10.5 gm5 is LOW but indicates mild anaemia at present. Anyhow iron tablets shall be started from 14 weeks onwards , so this shall get compensated , so needn't worry in this regard. Presently focus on green leafy vegetables, and iron rich foods to increase hemoglobin naturally.
She has to be on TAB FOLIC ACID 5mg daily till 12 weeks alone + tab levothyroxine 50 mcg one tab daily hence for next 6 weeks.
Regards
