Brief Answer:
Wait for a week

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.Periods usually occur within 5-10 days of stopping the regestrone tablet.
I will suggest you to wait for one week for the periods.
If still not there, then you may require estrogen and progesterone both for inducing periods.
Spontaneous conception can be difficult in PCOS patients due to irregular or no ovulation at all.
However, in that case, various treatments like ovulation induction drugs and IUI are very successful.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Is metformin the only solution for treating PCOD ? What are the foods to be taken and avoided to improvise the health condition ?

Brief Answer:
mainstay medical treatment in PCOS

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Metformin improves the hormonal profile in PCOS and is the mainstay medical treatment in this condition.

Oily, junk food should be avoided and healthy diet including a lot of fiber and vegetables should be taken.

Daily exercises, jogging and outdoor games like badminton should be done to maintain healthy lifestyle, which improves PCOS.
