Suggest Treatment For ACL Tear

Question: Hi,
I am 51 years old male and I torn my ACL two years ago. My knee is still swollen and I can feel stiffness in it and sometimes instability. I did over 15 physiotherapy sesions and still doing exercise at home. It is hard for me to do everyday work, basic activity, regular job. I am aware that in my age I need longer recovery if I do ACL reconstruction. I am aware of the risks of the operation such an infection, neurovascular injure that can happened to everyone regardless of age. I wonder if I do ACL surgery is there any specific risks regarding my age. That is why I would like to ask you these questions.
Could be contraindicated if I do an ACL reconstruction at this age? Could stiffness be worst in my age if an ACL reconstruction is done, even if I do regular physiotherapy afterwards? Is there any risk to speed osteoarthritis up if I do surgery in my age and is there any relation between osteoarthritis and ACL reconstruction? Is there any other complications if I do ACL surgery regarding my age, but regular risks?
