Answered by Dr. Bonnie Berger-Durnbaugh (15 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Rearding Nytol

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

I see that Nytol comes in different preparations. If the Nytol you have says that it contains Diphenhydramine 25 mg, then it is ok to take two, as Diphenhydramine is prescribed as 25 - 50 mg.

Reasons that Diphenhydramine may not be ok to take (in any dose) would be
glaucoma and increased eye pressure, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, and overactive thyroid.

But it is a generally safe drug.

Taking two will be more sedating, so while it is ok to take before you go to bed to sleep, don't take it if you are planning to be driving, etc, until you know how it effects you.

Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification
