Suggest Right Medications For Hair Loss
Question: Hi, I have been suffering from hair loss. I consulted a dermatologist today, without taking any test he prescribed below medicines
1) Halobetasol Propionate & Mupirocin ointment
2) CGRO Serum
3) Biona-E
4) Finar 1MG
5) SOFER
6) DOXIEM
These medicines are too costly for 15 days it cost me around Rs.5000 for these medicines. He is saying that i have to take treatment for 2 years. Please tell me, is it a correct treatment ? Is these medicines having any side effect ?

Thanks for your reply. Is it curable if i didn't take these two tablets(Finar 1 mg and Doxiem) ? He is saying that i will get back my hair for 100% sure, is it true ? What's the chance of getting back my hair ?

Recenly i had chance to meet a Sidda doctor he advised me not to go for allopathy treatment. He told me to apply onion juice daily for hair, it will cure the baldness or atleast prevent from further loss. Now i am feeling confused. Please give me some clear advice on the treatment.

Hair loss treatments are not 100% curative particularly in genetic and hormonal causes.
Finar and Doxiem should not be taken for more than 3 months in any case if hair gain is apparent.Their effects are always temporary.
GRM and CGRO serum would cost more or less the same irrespective of the brand name.
You are prescribed the right doses by your physician.Need not alter them.
Ayurvedic/Sidda based therapies have no effect on permanent hair gain in any proven trials.So better not depend on them.
