Suggest Remedy For Persistent Headache And Cervical Osteoarthritis

Question: I have been diagnosed with arthritis in my neck but I suspect it is elsewhere. I am only 52 years old. ANY physical exertion/exercise I do does not heal, the effects stay as pain a day or two later.(anywhere in my body!) Sometimes I get "migraine styled" headaches if I don't go see a massage therapist regularly. I am wondering how to proceed or why this is even happening. I thought it was stress related(years of stress). I left my job so the stress is gone but the symptoms remain. I was also wondering maybe if some of my long-term meds for other conditions are affecting my bodies ability to absorb nutrients and heal itself? I am also have allergies and had lived in a pollution zone for 6 years. I have moved so that is gone too.

Brief Answer:
? Chronic Pain

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Thank you for writing on health care magic

I have gone through your history and would like to ask you a few more details to help me localize the origin of pain and the cause?

1. Could you describe me the sites of the pain?? Which all location is it affecting you

2. Is it more on activity or at rest??

3. Do you have any early morning stiffness

4. Any history of backache or any other joint swellings?

5. do you experience dry mouth or dry eyes?

6. Any symptoms of constant fatigue/forgetfullness/irrtability??

Do let me know these queries. Pain is a difficult problem and makes it harder to localize. Do let me know these queries. It will help me narrow down the possibility of inflammatory pain or non inflammatory one

1.Pain is in the shoulders, neck, and head. Sometimes the head pain is focused in the occiputal area and even goes around my ears up to the top of my head. This area is fairly consistent. I also have periodic pain in all other joints in my body, ranging from mild to severe.
2.The pain occurs at anytime but is more active within 36 hours of physical exertion, including basic activities, exercise, or even just sitting down too long.
3.The early morning when I am just getting up and going is usually my best time(after rest) However, I seem to need around 9 hours to feel good if I've had physical activity the previous day. This morning I slept 10 hours because I had a massage yesterday.
4.I have a history of backache with my lower lumbar area but no other area. It has only been the past 3-4 years that the pain seems to be spreading.
5.I do experience dry mouth, yes. No dry eyes.
6. YES, to all three, fatigue, irratability, and forgetfulness. -Another reason I can't seem to hold a job now.
*Thank you for your reply. I also suspect that my condition is caused by long-term prescription drug use(prescribed, not recreational). They have many side-effect and they may be adding up. I could give you the list of meds if you wish.

Brief Answer:
Chronic Pain syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Sorry for the late reply. Was caught up in hospital duty

I have gone through your reply. Approaching your case, firstly we need to distinguish if it is an inflammatory or non inflammatory pain.

Since you feel better after sleep and in the mornings, it looks less like inflammatory as those pains increase more after activity. Moreover if there is no swelling, it doesnt go much in favor of inflammation. We can run through ur tests with ESR, CRP ( if it hasnt been done previously) to be sure.

For now, your symptoms more fit in with the other diagnosis( Non inflammatory) and those are the most difficult to diagnose and treat.

Please do send me the medication list and I would like you to go through this article I am sending you and see if your symptoms fit into it.

www. yyyyyyy.com---> Patient education ---> Fibromyalgia

Although examination is always superior, but your history suggests more of a chronic pain syndrome.

Do let me know once you go through it
