Suggest Remedy For Pain And Burning Sensation During Urination

default
Posted on Mon, 13 Jul 2015
Question: I have had some pain when I start urinating and then it goes away as my bladder empties. It's not really a burning feeling, more of a pain in my actual bladder. I've had no discharge, no foul smells, no blood between periods or after sex and no irritation during sex. Any idea what could be causing this?

Brief Answer:
Get urine, blood tests and a ultrasound scan to confirm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
Your symptoms are very suggestive of an inflammation in the bladder or the urinary outlet from the bladder. There's nothing to worry about.A mild recurrent UTI is also a possibility. The only way to confirm it is, do a urine routine and culture test, alongwith blood sugar, s. creatinine, and an ultrasound scan of the bladder. It would be good to know the dose and number of days ,you took Nitrofurantoin.
Till the reports are available, you can take an alkalysing syrup twice a day. Maintain drinking liquids 8-10 glasses daily.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
