Suggest Remedies For Weakness Of The Calf Muscles

default
Posted on Thu, 2 Feb 2017
Question: my calves are very weak and its hard to walk. It started 6 months ago when my feet were cramping, then my calves, then my calf muscles are weaker. I also can't write very well. I'm 62, otherwise healthy and active but obese...240, 5'6". Was Dx with MS 30 years ago but the one eye affected was ok after a year. Been in remission since then (30 yrs). I started walking slower about a year ago. MRI shows no MS, no Parkinsons but "clusters" (of undefined cells) throught my brain. Neuro visit Feb 9 but I'm going crazy NOW, and getting very depressed...no energy.Rx taken: tyenol PM
Synthroid
Multi vitamin for seniors
Lexapro
Adderall

Supplements:
coQ10
B12
MultiB
Probiotics
I had an MRI but do not have access to them. I''ll call over tomorrow and try to get a copy of the exact report or possibly a picture.

Brief Answer:
Be patient

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.

I have gone through your medical history in detail.

The symptoms that you are experiencing are due to those "cluster" cells in your brain and these might well be related to the history of MS that you had earlier.

Other neurological conditions also need a consideration and need to be ruled out.

As you said,i will wait for the MRI reports before commenting further on this.

Neuro visit seems to be still a month away and if you feel that the symptoms are gradually worsening, then you should try and get a earlier date or contact ER.

Continue taking the supplements that you have been taking.

You can take iv fluids with multivitamins till then.

I hope the answer was useful.

Upload the MRI reports as soon as you get them.

Thank you.

Kind regards.
