Question: I had a partial hysterectomy (one ovary left) about 7 years ago, and a couple of weeks ago, my hot flashes has turned into sweating all day and night. I am constantly moist under my cloths. Is this normal? The reason for my hysterectomy was positive for pre cancerous cells due to HPV.

Brief Answer:
Normal during menopause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The sweating increases during menopause. it seems that your this symptom was controlled with the help of anti depressants. An increase in sweating is due to stopping anti depressants. This will gradually decrease in next 10-15 weeks. in case the symptoms are too disturbing then you will have to resume taking anti depressants after consulting your gynecologist.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
