Question: My husband has diverticulitis (sp) and is having a flare up...is there anything we can do or take? Last time he was prescribed metronidazol and ciprofolxacin,

You should take these antibiotics again and have easy diets.
Also. if pain progresses and fever occur then you should see doctor and have been intravenous therapy. If more than 2 flare ups occurred in last 5 years then surgery is recommended after some time because it is likely that it will happen later in life more often .
